Description
The core of the egg is concrete, the shell is polymer clay with a brass metal coating and a light dye oxide to produce an aged look. The egg alone weighs 4.96 oz and measures 4″ high x 6.75″ around. The nest also has a concrete core, lined with polymer clay coated with iron and then chemically aged to look like rust is taking over.
The nest alone weighs 5.56 oz and measures 1″ high x 4′ wide. Both pieces can be displayed individually or together and have been sealed to discourage further aging and protect the finish.
